Full-Fat Dairy Reduces Diabetes Risk

New studies show that eating full-fat dairy products not only halves the risk of diabetes, but lowers the risk of obesity.

A 15-year US study of more than 3,300 people published last month in the journal Circulation found that people who had higher levels of three different byproducts of full-fat dairy had a 46% lower risk of developing diabetes.

A second study of 18,000 women published in the American Journal of Nutrition in February found that those who ate high-fat dairy products lowered their risk of being overweight by 8%.
